Help Fund Something Big

ASMANDS Marketing & Training Aids (AKA “ASMANDS”) is the publisher of Single Parent Magazine (AKA "SP Magazine"). The magazine, which will print its premiere issue in April 2008, is aimed at a variety of individuals who are in a unique parenting situation. It will be a lifestyle publication discussing situations for parents who are single whether through separation or divorce or an unfortunate situation such as the death of a spouse, by choice, such as by artificial insemination, agreement of a donor, etc., as well as step parents and single individuals who choose to adopt who have some or all of the same responsibilities without the biological factor. There is no magazine aimed specifically at this audience. Although occasionally a columnist for magazines such as Parenting and Working Mother, will write about single parenting, rarely will it go into sought out details and, the frequency of such columns is much too low leaving a void and longing for more.
"It's a fact that nearly a third of American family households with children under 18 are headed by a single parent. It's also a fact that one of every two U.S. children will live in a single-parent household at some time during childhood." That's according to an article found at WWW.MCALL.COM. This is a staggering number that keeps growing everyday and is becoming more the norm rather than the exception.
The key to success is marketing. And the key to marketing is money. Help fund this wonderful magazine by subscribing, advertising and/or sponsoring it.
