Where does the name ASMANDS come from?

Some people guess it's my last name. Others are just simply stomped. Guess no more. The name derives from the words A Single Mom AND Son. Since 1996, I've dreamed of owning my own business and starting a magazine for men and women who found themselves in the same 'single parent' situation I was in. After getting laid off at the end of 2006, I decided to give self-employment a try. Althought I've faced many challenges learning through trial and error, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I thank the wonderful people I've met along this path that have helped me through some tough times and some that continue to do so.
